Last Night of the Platinum Jubilee Proms

Join us as ABF The Soldiers Charity Presents a Charity Gala Concert to mark Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with an evening of spectacular music and dance. From the West End to George Formby and Gary Barlow, you will be taken on a melodious journey accompanied by some of Her Majesty’s favourite music.
Our cast includes our local Army band, the Royal Signals (Northern) Band, George Formby tribute Colin Bourdiec, vintage vocalist Paula Marie, outstanding local singer Sandie Smith, the Forum Theatre School, Durham Musical Theatre Company, the wonderful dancers from Inspire Productions International, and the Pipes and Drums of 102 Battalion REME. We will also be supported by Pam Royle, who will be reading selections from Her Majesty’s iconic 21st birthday speech to the Commonwealth and Empire.
